dr. Brandon T. Kunz, DPM
Dr. Brandon Kunz, DPM, is a double board-certified podiatric physician and surgeon with a focus on comprehensive foot and ankle care. He earned his undergraduate degree from Augustana College, where he also played college basketball, and completed his medical training at Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science. He went on to complete his residency at Advocate Christ Medical Center as part of the inaugural class of podiatric residents.
Dr. Kunz is affiliated with Advocate Christ Medical Center and OSF Little Company of Mary Medical Center. His clinical interests include diabetic limb salvage, sports medicine injuries, foot and ankle trauma, pediatric foot care, and reconstruction of forefoot and rearfoot deformities. He is an active member of the American Podiatric Medical Association, the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons, and the Illinois Association of Podiatric Physicians and Surgeons.
Originally from Chicago’s North Side, Dr. Kunz and his wife, Jaclyn, now proudly call the South Side home, where they live with their energetic husky, Fin. Outside of work, he enjoys biking, playing basketball, and reading—activities that reflect his lifelong commitment to health, balance, and personal growth. Dr. Kunz remains committed to lifelong learning and continues to play a critical role in the development and mentorship of residents at the Advocate Christ Podiatry Residency Program.

Dr. Steven L. Gelsomino, DPM
Dr. Steven L. Gelsomino, DPM is a board-certified podiatrist specializing in foot and ankle surgery, with over four decades of experience serving the Oak Lawn, Illinois community. He earned his bachelor’s degree in Biology from Loyola University Chicago, followed by his Doctor of Podiatric Medicine degree from the Illinois College of Podiatric Medicine in 1981. He completed his residency training at St. Bernard Hospital & Health Care Center in 1982.
Dr. Gelsomino is affiliated with Advocate Christ Medical Center, OSF Little Company of Mary Medical Center, and Advocate Illinois Masonic Medical Center. His practice offers comprehensive foot and ankle care, including the treatment of bunions, plantar fasciitis, heel spurs, and foot infections. Patients appreciate his compassionate bedside manner, surgical expertise, and long-standing dedication to individualized care.
Outside of medicine, Dr. Gelsomino is a devoted family man who enjoys spending time with his wife, Kayla, their children, and grandchildren. He is also a passionate runner, having completed the Chicago Marathon 13 times and regularly competing in other Chicagoland races. In his free time, he enjoys collecting coins and skiing.
